Curious how this is going. With that combo you are going to have a very long drivetrain. I’m guessing your engine is not as wide and tight fitting as my R2.8 so maybe you can push everything forward a bit more?

Does anyone have a stock throw out/release bearing sitting around that they can take some measurements of?

Ended up installing some double thick 5/8” SAE washers. This gave me enough headroom for the nuts to be properly torqued without bottoming the threads.

Anyone here install theirs yet? I threw the front in on Sunday, but the uBolts didn’t have enough thread to get them torqued properly. I assume most everyone is using washers to make up the difference? The tap required to continue the threads would be a 16mm X 2.0 which is available but not without ...

24 to 12V conversion is almost complete, just need some new headlight bulbs and either rewind or swap out the wiper motors. The clutch is a stage three from Spec. It is simply a clutch designed for a Volvo 164. Their stage one clutch is good to 350ftlbs. I would be lying if I told you I remembered the torque rating of the stage 3, but it’s vastly higher just due to the 6 puck design over the full disc design. The clutch ...

As for the 617 option, I have had a few. They are decent for sure. But at extreme RPM’s they start to leak and are really pushing their limits as built. They are a pleasure under 4500rpm though.

Those are not the correct specs for the Cummins R2.8.

HP is 161 as I recall and torque is flat across at 310ftlbs max RPM is 4200 as I recall.
