Stekay emailed me a BMW/Alfa version, and I'm sure he wouldn't complain if I shot a few bucks to the forum for a thank you.

I plan on getting the official pinz manual from Scott once I'm ready to tear into the Boite-Changement Vitess!

As it sits the transmission in my Pinz is really IN my pinz, on the back seat, so we'll be showing up in more conventional vehicles, if we can make it at all. But it's looking good so far.

Easy peazy, took just over an hour.

Now if anyone has a service manual they want to part with I'll be in business, or I can always get a new one,

Is there anything I should be aware of when pulling the transmission? I've pulled many a Ford and Subaru trannys in the past, but don't have the service manual yet for the Pinz. If there is a hidden clip or bolt it would be nice to know before I destroy it any further. It fortunately seems like my o...

Ran it low on oil, I'm fairly certain it needs new shafts and syncros

I'm in the same boat, ran a little low on fluid and 4th sounds like a jack hammer now

Sunday does work better for me, but I know there is no way we'll get everyone together anyway.

I'll be there if it's a Sunday, but will have to bow out if it's this Saturday, either way there are plenty of weekends ahead of us.

Man, that would be perfect with the RHD, my girlfriend is deaf in her left ear so I could drive on the right and she would still be able to hear me prattle on about how awesome the Pinz is.

If I put a little pressure on the case mine quiets down quite a bit. Just some buzzing between metal parts, I'm not worried about mine, but it is annoying at times.

There are about 3 days in July, usually right after the 4th weekend, and you're back at work.

Funny, I was just thinking about one of those after I realized that a Unimog 406 would have to wait a while, and my better judgment told me that I don't need two useless offroaders (Say hi to my better half Liz) :wink: How common are those in the US? I "might" be able to swing one of those...
