Re: Puch bike

I've been keeping my eye out for a moped from Puch, I've seen a few around town, but trendy hipsters aren't selling these days.

Re: Exhaust system, backpressure, and replacement.

Just a technicality, but backpressure isn't the issue, it's a byproduct of correct exhaust flow velocity. If your exhaust is too large the air will stagnate and the scavenging effect is lost. If she isn't Mrs. ScottishPinz you'd better put a ring on it, and if she is, good for you. Any woman who's willing to tool about in a pinz is a keeper.

Let me guess, your "other" car is a Subaru?

It never ceases to amaze me the overlap on forums that I'm on for seemingly unrelated hobbies.

Re: Intercom system

Westernair installed Softcom into the 710K I bought from him, it works great when it works, but after about 5 minutes it cuts out, I'm not sure if its a softcom issue or a wiring issue, but they sure are a nice setup, and they keep my ears warm in the cold. There are no magic 100,000 mile spark plugs for this truck, the carbs are finiky and the distributor needs regular attention. If you are comfortable with that then sure, its a grea...
