Mine was doing exactly what you describe. I replaced the muffler and added a longer tail-pipe and it went away. It was pretty exciting coming back from Yellowstone at night with that bright flash and "boom". I thought for sure the Rangers would be all over me. "That old army truck is ...

I got the single Stop/Turn/Brake Truck-Lite LEDS. They are the standard 4 or 4.5" (can't remember) round ones that fit in a rubber grommet. I just cut the holes into the stock tail light bracket. Really bright. Hardest part was cutting the holes and getting them semi-round. The rubber grommets ...

G I'm going this route too when I get new tires. I've heard nothing but good things about them. My last Jeep had GY MTR's. They wer...

One cold spot? Heck my feet are one big cold spot in winter! I'll probably just put a couple bolts with rubber washers in the holes. I cleaned the old paint off and there is no colored dot on mine. It's double sided too. I could put a smiley face sticker or something on there. With the Germa...

What is the little tag next to driver side headlight?

I don't have a pic handy, but have seen them with blue dots or something on them. There was one on my truck but it had been painted over. Tag was bolted on with 2 bolts. Is it a military thing, or just a civilian registration tag? Debating whether I want to put it back on for "character".

I really like my Truck-Lite LED tail lights. The LED emergency lights on my "work car" are awesome. LED flashlights are cool.

They have so many advantages over incandescent lights, but WOW!

Re: Solar ventilator

We have been having some fairly warm weather in Scotland (you know we are not used to it being more than 20 C) So I have fitted a solar ventilator on the roof where the ariel mount was. Great thing is the one I bought was exactly the same size as the ariel mount so a really neat fit! Painted it loo...

That guy has Skilz  . Jeep 4.0 would be a great motor for the Pinz. Lots of low end torque. Wow, that looks like alot of work.

Gee, I think your were told before you ordered it wouldn't work.
Yeah, yeah, you sound like my girlfriend.

I though the au-ve-co was different than the other stuff I found. Nope same stuff.

Did you use that same stuff on the front doors too?
