Re: Volvo C303 Radiator

As mentioned previously, i have a Volvo c303 and it didn't come with the original radiator (Grrrrr) !! Anyhoo, the radiator that came with it is a big arse truck radiator with twin fans. Seeing as i don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on getting one specially made, i was hoping to mount the radi...

Re: My Volvo in the jungle finally.

I have to admit, there looks like a lot of mud over there in Malaysia.

Those Jungle trails look very slippery !!

Overheating

Hi Folks

I was speaking to a mechanic i used to take my car to get serviced (until he robbed me blind one day repairing a cracked head on a Vitara) about Portal axles on my C303.

He mentioned that one of the biggest problems with portals is that they can overheat !! Is this true ?

Re: Lockers

The stock lockers work perfectly. Why redesign the wheel? The only reason i posed the question about the ARB style air lockers, was that i have been told that there could be one tank which may be cracked, as it's not holding vacuum. I have two really good air compressors and was going to use one if...

Lockers

Hi there

I understand that the C303 has lockers front and rear, can these be adapted to run like a compressor style ARB locker ?

How do the vaccum lockers work exactly ?

Volvo C303 Radiator

Hi folks I need to get a radiator made for my c303 and was told that one with longer/wider fins cools better than a 3 or 5 core ? I would love to get one made in the same size to fit the existing radiator space, as mine didn't come with a radiator at all. The truck I have has a 4 ltr diesel motor. D...

Re: lets talk tires

No kidding the swampers are like $320 ea.
Here in Australia, 315/75 R16's (35") Muddies have been known to sell for $500 each !!

I remember paying $330 each for Cooper STT Muddies in a 285/75/R16 (33") about 2 and a half years ago.

Tyre prices are just
