To answer the question on jets, Yes , just replace all 4 main jets.
The factory main jet is 140 and air correction jets are 60, for high altitude , go to 125 on mains and (optional) 55 on air correction jets.

There are a few things to check, first see if the trans rear output flange is loose(wiggle up and down) if so replace the rear output bearing. Next look at the forward fork pivots for leakage, if one is leaking it could be broken (somewhat common), if that is not it, then it needs to come out for te...

Spend the money, it is well worth it.
I replaced my sagging front springs a couple weeks ago, what an improvement in handling :!:
After installation, the front came back up 1 1/2-2 inches 8)

I had a similar issue last year, turned out the large power feed wire from the starter lug to the cab was grounding out on the starter solonoid flange. The wire chaffed, and when grounded the engine would die  I repaired the wire and then put a piece of wire conduit over it to prevent a repea...

Yes, to check the trans oil the floor plate must be removed. Next pull the fill plug on the top of the trans, and then remove the level plug on the side/bottom of trans. Fill trans till oil starts coming out of level plug pipe.

Sounds like you may have a loose float bowl(try to wiggle the carb) , or worn throttle shafts.
Check for vacuum leaks, you may want to pull the front tin off the engine and inspect the intake manifold equalizing hose and clamps

There is no drain, but there are 2 fill holes. One on the top of the steering box and the other near the top of the lower housing.
You have to use a suction device to remove old oil

Check the red wire at both sides of the molex connector(they corrode), and also check the wires at the back of the alternator(they tend to break off)
