Re: Expedition to Expedition Imports -- Part 2
Never did get to see Scott's new warehouse. Thanks for posting the photos. Always found Scott and excellent resource and logical place to get the parts I needed. He often referred me to SAV to save time and money. Always helpful.

Re: Static display rental....what would you charge??
When I loaned mine to Dos XX years ago and they wrapped it for their promotion it took several tries to get the goop off. Even then I had to repaint it and I was not really pleased with the transaction. In the spirit of good will I cooperated but if I still had a pinz I would not do it again based o...

Make sure it is locked and no little hands get to roaming around in it.

Re: M Vier Sechzehn- US m416 trailer with a Swiss accent
The one thing I did notice about the union of the M416 and the original pinz hitch is that the Swiss trailer has a smaller lunette and it will bind in the pinz hitch. I got a universal hitch used on the US military vehicles and there were no more issues.

Re: M Vier Sechzehn- US m416 trailer with a Swiss accent
Really a good job on that trailer. I sold mine to a guy in the Arizona pinz club, one of the most regrettable decisions I have made. They are hard to find and once refitted to your needs are tough to beat, pull well and hold a lot of items and leave the pinz open for sleeping and not holding lots of...

Re: Pinz front entry step
Thanks for mentioning that Paul. The step is made from one 12 inch long 1 1/2 inch round pipe nipple cut into two equal pieces and two 1 1/2 inch common floor flanges. I drilled the non threads end to allow for on/off with a phillips screwdriver. This makes it easily removable in the event of possib...

Re: Stopping water from entering through doors.
When in the PNW I replaced the original interior window channels with the deeper ones from SAV (the ones that are above the rubber elbow). I still have the original ones with the window locks for the left and right side. If yours have rusted or not looking too good, make me a reasonable offer for th...

What is the name of the reliable company that you chose to ship. Depending on the outcome of the condition of the pinz it may be worth note to others with similar interests.

Re: Seattle Area Pinz Mechanic?
It has been a really long time and no word on the trip. What is going on with your pinz? Is it at Jim's or somewhere else?
If you drove it did you take pics?
