Re: Air Tunnel Soundproofing

Has anyone tried a product called FatMat? Comes in 50 and 80 mil thickness and is supposed to tolerate hot areas and kill sound.

Re: Stainless Steel "Rear Exit" Mufflers in Production

A catalytic converter is supposed to take remaining carbon monoxide and finish burning the remaining unburned fuel, thus converting it to carbon dioxide. That's that dangerous greenhouse gas the government mandated all newer vehicles produce. It might help with the fumes. Sarcasm anymore?

Air ducts

Can anyone provide me with the I.D.'s of the heater/defrost ducts? I've looked in as many pervious posts until ocular meltdown . I need to replace all of the ducts. Thanks.

Re: Engine stalled, now won't start

My guess? Sounds like it lost the timing, mechanically. Check for a loose distributor. Then just install the PinzSSI and be done with it.

Re: Insurance Crisis

Yes. I listed it as a 712 M as that's what was on the title. The computer didn't bat an eye. Just set me up with a policy number and all was good.

Re: Insurance Crisis

I went with GEICO online and Did Not use the term Pinzgauer. Used Steyr and all went very well. Under $200 for the year for liability. Thanks to info from EDZZ and Mr. Dunn for previous threads.

Re: Introduction New 710 owner

EDZZ was kind enough to show me his 710M before he sold it. Gave me a ride around and showed me all sorts of reasons to buy one of my own. It is a great looking vehicle. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Big thanks EDZZ.

Re: Alternator field, pos or neg

Quick comment to an older thread. On older Harley Davidsons and many other generator charging systems it was necessary to "Flash the Field" when replacing charging system components. This was done to ensure the proper polarity of the generator.
