Has anyone tried a product called FatMat? Comes in 50 and 80 mil thickness and is supposed to tolerate hot areas and kill sound.

A catalytic converter is supposed to take remaining carbon monoxide and finish burning the remaining unburned fuel, thus converting it to carbon dioxide. That's that dangerous greenhouse gas the government mandated all newer vehicles produce. It might help with the fumes. Sarcasm anymore?

Thank you, everyone. I got varying measurements on some of the fittings and connections. That's why the question. I've got it now.
Air ducts
Can anyone provide me with the I.D.'s of the heater/defrost ducts? I've looked in as many pervious posts until ocular meltdown . I need to replace all of the ducts. Thanks.

Finally found a means of providing a picture. It's a Youtube vid called pinzgauer 6X6 beaks the ice.avi Can't say much for my tech skills but it's what I can do. Great day to all.

My guess? Sounds like it lost the timing, mechanically. Check for a loose distributor. Then just install the PinzSSI and be done with it.

Yes. I listed it as a 712 M as that's what was on the title. The computer didn't bat an eye. Just set me up with a policy number and all was good.

I went with GEICO online and Did Not use the term Pinzgauer. Used Steyr and all went very well. Under $200 for the year for liability. Thanks to info from EDZZ and Mr. Dunn for previous threads.

EDZZ was kind enough to show me his 710M before he sold it. Gave me a ride around and showed me all sorts of reasons to buy one of my own. It is a great looking vehicle. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Big thanks EDZZ.

Haf-e mine doesn't have the top windows. Flat across the top like an ambulance model. Found this one on Ebay. From Florida.

Quick comment to an older thread. On older Harley Davidsons and many other generator charging systems it was necessary to "Flash the Field" when replacing charging system components. This was done to ensure the proper polarity of the generator.
