Re: Pinz Voltmeter
They say imitation is the finest form of flattery. So I bought some piece from MPJA and made a little boxed voltmeter : https://scontent-sin1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlp1/v/t1.0-9/p720x720/12063397_10153989558842289_6635096200528726573_n.jpg?oh=686feebe243fed49309d48d765ce6db8&oe=56975FDF The swi...

Interesting thread.
Hey Hotzenplotz, my Oman delivered Pinz has the same headlight guards and half/half windscreen but not the latch near the grill you showed.

Re: Float level adjustment?
I'm with JimmyC, not had much experience on Pinz carbs but I have seen motorbikes with a crack in the float, so it doesn't float as much as it should.

Bremach T-Rex Overlander build up blog
This guy Oliver Reinhard has a very detailed build up blog of a Bremach T-Rex. He then imported it to Australia and toured around. The section on importing via Carnet made my head spin - lots of paper work! Concept and overall details here : https://sites.google.com/site/oliverreinhard/expeditionsmo...

Interesting.
Maybe a remote fish and chip van
My Oman spec came with a similar folding side, but only 2 seats worth at the front drivers side.

Re: molex connector and dielectric grease
Thanks for the tip. I have a LED voltage display from Marlin P Jones. Thats how I know what my batteries are reading at all times and especially while the vehicle is operating. They are not expensive and worth the trouble to install for up to date info. I just have one for the 24V system but as you...

Re: Starter Button - Inside Look
Mine came without a starter button, so I just bought one at the local truck supply shop for about $15. Final note: If in a situation where you need to use a 2 pole intermittent switch, leave the (b) wire disconnected and taped off. Your truck will still run and may be a little harder to start up, b...

Re: Starter Button - Inside Look
Thanks to the replies above, I will need to recheck everything now. When I got my Pinz the starter and ignition and quite a few of the other electrical components were all missing. It worked out what most wires seemed to do with a multimeter, wiring diagram and some trial and error. Now I can't reme...
