Found this thread apparently by a neighbor of mine, with a photo of my 710k not long after I'd bought it. Some terribly ill informed discussion about it too.

I might be wrong, but it looks like a 710 has proportionally stiffer rear suspension (compared to a 712), such that an unladen one is reluctant to use full upwards wheel travel on a single rear wheel. Took mine out at New Year for some ski touring access. This is the road from Loch Tay over to Glen Lyon, via Ben Lawers. Lots of dense sugary snow, which had been through a few freeze/thaw cycles. They make those pinzies work for their petrol. My 710 would never make that route. great video. Yes, it's interesting to see how much more laterally stable the 6 wheelers are.
