How about 460-480volts DC  I have trained on GM electric vehicles during my 20+ years as a GM tech, from the EV-1 to the electric S-10 pick-ups, and none of them EVER met the 300 mile mark on one charge. All the early EV's had issues like hydrogen sulfide gas build up as well as a few fires f...

The yellow boots(1 piece) do not use screws and are thinner making clamp re-use difficult.
I have had some clamps fit, but for the most part is is best to buy boots with all hardware, unless you are replacing an existing split boot

I will be getting my system installed as soon as I finish up some work on a Hafie and a 6x6, and a front axle on Dave's Hafie  , then it's my turn. I will take plenty of photo's  You have to keep the injectors cool, they tend to malfunction after heat soaking if too close to the head :cr...

To test for engagement and or broken axle, engage 4x4 lever, and then front locker lever. Next lift front wheels off ground with engine off and in any gear, now try to rotate a tire. If one spins and one is locked, you have a broken axle on the spin side. If neither of them spin it is working , if t...

One other place to look is where you attached the red wire for the Pertonix on the noise suppressor, I have had to scrape clean the area of attachment to get good contact

The plot thickens!
If you put the Pos wire for the winch to the starter terminal, I would be looking for a wire with a ring that is not attached to the starter stud where it should be

The condenser is the small can with the green wire that is pressd into the bottom of the dist. Try this first, remove the distributor signal wire from the coil(-) and clean the contact surfaces and re-test for spark  I have found this work on at least 2 no spark conditions. As for points, why ...

If adjusting does not work, then the T-case will have to come out for repairs. A common ailment is a broken syncro lock spring. When this part fails the sliding sleeve waggles, end result is replace the 3 springs, the sliding sleeve, and the High input gear  The excessive waggle of the sleeve...

I'm looking for fuel control(16-20 mpg), the best I ever heard of a Mega Squirt on a Pinz was 12-14 mpg, same as carbs. The manifold and crank trigger being used are adaptable to any good computer system. With the EMS 8860 computer, If the cam sensor fails, it will revert to batch fire and use just ...
