Re: Jet sizes for a 710/712
Watch out for early and late idle jet models, some have o-rings, others don't. I have posted in other threads the differences and correct version for my carbs.

Re: Jet sizes for a 710/712
I have played with all fuel and air jets chasing poor idle to power transitions. My conclusion is, if you have 55-135 and your truck runs well, don't mess with them, as they are within specs. As carbs and gaskets get old, minor vacuum leaks develop, (ie shafts, choke covers, carb bases.. etc) and ru...

Re: Engine stumble halp
Since your ignition is modern and has low chances of being a problem except for timing, I would start with making sure you have no vacuum leaks and your acceleration pumps are squirting well. Vacuum leaks are easy to spot with a good smoke machine. Unless you find something obvious, you would be sur...

Original Rims... throw them away? Free give away.
Anyone interested in a set of four original rims? I have no idea what to do with them other than wrap hoses around them...

Re: Engine stumble halp
I have the SSI and mine runs a little happier a touch advanced from red LED.
I drive it around, squeeze my hand in the engine compartment and adjust timing by feel. Got better results than with red light.
But, that is me the caveman, not me the engineer.

Re: My awesome 710K air conditioning installation.
Hello Tjerk,
I will share my electric installation diagram so you can check it. I have two fans, I believe one is connected as you describe, the second one is manual and independently powered for slow traffic or very hot days.
But I will check again on possible alternatives.
Thank you,
Jerome

Re: My awesome 710K air conditioning installation.
I would like to understand better your comment about belt tension. What is your experience with it? Do you have photos or any info on the original bracket/installation?
Thank you,

Re: Lots of cheap heaters popping up
Gentlemen, ladies?, Don't give up so easy on the original Eberspachers, there are a pain but once refurbished, they do great. I have produced pressure reg diaphragms and some other small parts that usually contribute to a good running unit. If you do give up, please consider publishing the old units...
