Re: Why did my Pinz have fuel delivery issues
So the part I ordered seems not to be the part that was installed. Need to figure it out so I can have a spare.
Regardless, checked the old crank sensor, cleaned it, checked wiring, cleaned up a few things on the tone wheel and Pinz is back in action,
Here is the part I need. No part numbers on it and it is not the Wells SU4214 as that is what I ordered and the plug is a bit different (and the diameter is larger so does not fit the bracket)

Re: Why did my Pinz have fuel delivery issues
I reckon that crank angle sensor is from Subaru EJ20&EJ22 engines and could be either the crank or camshaft angle sensor, there was however a couple of slight plug variations between the Various series engines, I think yours maybe a camshaft angle sensor from a series three EJ20/22. In Australia these engines were used in the Impreza and Liberty/Legacy years 1991ish well into the 2000's. Maybe take some measurements of it.

Re: Why did my Pinz have fuel delivery issues
Interesting trivia: The shop that helped to get the EMS EFI system set up (the one the Jim L. uses) specializes in Subaru engines for sand rails (they can get over 700HP from a twin turbo 6 cyl Subaru boxer engine!), hence the use of Subaru components...
