Hi all
Just a preventative maintenance tip. When doing your spring maintenance (for those of us who are seasonal) check the condition of your fan shroud mount. There is an aluminum spacer attached to the shroud at the mounting point. Mine must have developed multiple stress fractures over the years and it finally let loose. Not sure if it was all at once though, but it's not obvious unless you look for it. While changing my fuel filter I budged it loose and realized the only thing holding my fan shroud in place was the clamp pressure from the tin. All four corners has cracked off and she was free floating!
Happy trails,
Dave
