Engine Shop Needed

Post by goalsquid »

I am rebuilding my 1973 710M engine and need a shop that can machine the heads for new valves and seats.

My local shop did not have the proper size tools to do the job correctly.

Doe anyone know of a shop that has the proper tooling?

Thanks,
Anthony

try to find Jason Everett in Java. I'm not sure if this is the name of his shop still, but searching for machine work in Java shouldnt turn up many results. I went to school with Jason, and follow his work on Facebook. He might have what you need

If nothing pans out, I have had two sets of heads rebuilt here.

John, has a lot of experience with air cooled engines and performance.
Big plus EI's is in the general area for parts, negative is the hassle of
shipping.

Just FYI John doesn't fly cut the heads so you would need to hand
lap them to the cylinders.
