Need to find a coil for use on a 24volt Pinz that has the Pertronix upgrade. Any recommendations as to what brand to buy, and part number?

I can confirm, Bosch blue is a very good way to go. Make sure and ohm it, as there are two variants out there. (one claims to be without ballast, but is not 3 ohms) You want the 3 ohm one as Jim indicates.

Electrically these are identical to the factory coils, slightly hotter output than normal beetle coils, just in civvy housing. Seem to be a bit hotter spark, but not enough that you get into coil heating issues like some aftermarket.

Pick you up a raincoat off a BMW at a junkyard and you are in business:

This worked well even in FL water.

Have fun,
