im having trouble removing the top bolt from the starter in my 710k i thought i had done this before but i guess not. I removed the wiring and the dipstick and the bottom bolt but the top one is such a tight squeeze i can barely get the wrench in there im thinking about cutting a wrench in half so i have room to swing it around?
i broke it free i just cant turn it any suggestions would be handy .

Norcal Pinz I had the same problem. I bought a C shaped box end wrench at Harbor Freight, still had to gring it a bit but it worked great.

Try pulling the 2 mounting nuts off the slave cylinder and moving it out of the way
Then you can use any wrench, also loosen the lower nut to ease removal of upper nut

Jim said it,after 30 yrs as an auto tech, sometimes it's worth the x-tra time to take something else outa the way!

It takes a few minutes to remove the clutch slave....you don't even have to disconnect the line/hose, so it's simply a matter of re-bolting it back in place when you've finished.
or, you could use Miles's method!
