Throttles don't move at same time

Was gently revving the engine with the top cover off and noticed (more accurately, my friend Phill noticed) that the forward throttle moved slightly before the rear one - is this supposed to happen or doesn't it matter?

The should both be equal. I adjust one, then the other. Its usually one half turn less than what you think it is.

They should be the same. Refer to the manual for adjustment proceedures.

Before doing anything, check the fulcrum bushes!
Wear at the fulcrum will make the throttle rods squew sideways losing movement on one rod. Also the ball joints do wear and get floppy on the threaded portion of the rods, again causing lost movement

Thanks. Seems to be quite a lot of play in the ball joints but haven't had time to investigate further - are these Pinzgauer specific parts or easily available linkages?

I had one of the throttle levers unscrew and disconnect, recently. The truck really doesn't accellerate very well with one carb sitting at idle all the time.

Yes for ease of sourcing they are best sourced from a Pinz specialist. Try the Haflinger guy up in Scotland, he's very helpful on your side.
