Carburaetor kit

Post by karoja »

I see EI has two different kits listed (one higher priced), and SAW only one. How do I know which one of EI 's to buy? Thanks,
Karl

Looking at the carbs from the driver’s side near the bottom of the carburetor you will see the idle mixture screws the small screws are slightly inset (have a raised boss around the screw) the large are not inset. Also when in drought ask / email Scott at E.I., when I described my carbs to him he said mine are small see picture, one of the screws in question is visible just below and to the left of the fuel shut-off solenoid. May also want to order new base gaskets, check what Scott recommends.

BTW please excuse the mess in the picture. So hard to find good domestic help these days.
