oil usage?

Doing a general visual inspction on the engine today, checked oil, it was a bit down. Does half a quart after 800 miles sound about right? Other than that, running like a top! Thanks.

I've used more at times,all depends on conditions,yours sounds about right to me.

Sounds about right. Every time you start up a Pinzy, it burns a bit of oil.

For what its worth, we use 40 monograde oil in the tropics in our Pinzgauers.

When I got my 712W it used a quart of oil every 300 miles. In comparison, our 710M needs no oil added between oil changes. Both have been driven tens of thousands of miles with no ill effects.
