Leaking Carbs

Post by Squiggas »

Both carbs have started leaking badly through the upper gasket. Coincidence or could there be a common cause?

If they're the same age they could fail at the same time, I suppose. What are the gaskets made from?

I don't know what they're made from but I had a minor leak a couple of years ago and replaced the gasket so they're not the same age.

loose screws from vibration or bad float valves causing the bowl to over fill?
