OK, I know I am a trouble maker but I have noticed (no data to back it up) that most civi conversions tend to be out west in the dryer climates. Here we can go out trail riding and wind up with a day of mudding. Does the civi cap & wires make any difference in wet conditions?

I put a wrap of that self sealing silicone tape around the seam where my cap and plate connect. No more wet cap at all. Prior to that I had moisture sometimes when going through deep puddles. Still have to clean/replace the air filter and oil cooler though :P
