When it was for sale I am sure you saw my post
When I asked if they still supported their kit they replied with a blunt but polite "no"

I have purchased stuff from Jake over the years, he has never been the type to not help out.
His DTM cooling systems for type 1 and type 4 VW motors are second to none.
I feel confident that he will answer a few questions as they arise.

At the time, Raby stated clearly that he would only support the units for a set period of time. He did support tech and questions actively on a page of his site during that period, which unfortunately is no longer active. As more installations were completed, he responded to concerns and even recalled several items at his expense. The picture he painted through many posts on this site was that he lost his shirt when he factored in his R&D, and that he felt that the Pinze community did not step up and support his efforts by buying kits His projections, not mine. I plan my own belated installation this summer, postponed due to limiting physical problems.

Question for kit owners out there? Did anyone copy and archive the online support blog from Raby? If so, I'd love to get a copy prior to my work with it. This would be of interest to kit owners, but of limited interest to others, as most posts discussed kit parts or substitutes such as modifying the stock air cleaner to mate with the new plenum, selection of accelerator cable, and a few other specific things. If anyone has archived this blog, please PM me.

Yes please PM me as well.
I did ask Jake earler today if he kept any of the old information he could provide in PDF format. He should be getting back to me tomorrow I suspect, so I will know then.

Picked up a fuel pressure gauge for the fuel box yesterday, also ordered a seperate 24 to 12 volt converter to use just for the fuel pump. The one I already have is for my sterio and 2 accessory plugs.
The new one will be activated by the ignition and dedicated. It is a 12 amp unit even though I only neen 6 amps.
Today I will be tackling the wiring and mounting of the computer box.

Just about done with the basic install. Last night I installed the PITA throttle cable and started the wiring. Figure 2 more hours and she should be ready to start. This weekend will be my time to start the tuning.

The throtlle cable was a real pain to install. the directions indicated it should not need a spring but provided one "just in case." Not only did I need a spring but one much heaver then the one he provided.
The pedal now seems just a hair bit stiffer then before but should work fine.

Actually this kit is pretty strait forward. It takes lots of time but the video and directions are fairly east to follow.
How hard it is to do the fine tuning that is needed is yet to be seen...

Started it up and let it run for 10 minutes while I worked on cleaning up the wiring. She was idling great and reved with zero hesitation. Decided to pull her out for her maden run and pop! Somehow I blew a spark out right out of the head. I am sure that this was a fluke but now I need to pull the head and bring it in for a timesert repair.

So close but still so far away...

#4?

Every one of my pinz have shown obvious cross threading issues with the #4 head. I've gotten use to a very gentle torquing.

Finnaly on the road, due to a few unforeseen issues it was not until today that I finished her up. Took her for a drive, the stock settings are not to bad, but some tuning is needed. Mainly a bit of hesitation when stepping on it from idle.

Sounds like its going well for you. Good to see someone who's actually able to install and get it going. Your install looks real good.

Just playing with the knob a bit and not making any program changes. The engine at idle of 650rpm it is running co2 2.25% hc 400. At 2000rpm my co2 jumps to 7% and hc drops to 150. Adjusting the knob to 9% lean my numbers drop at 2000 rpm to 2.5 co2 and 150 hc.
Took it for a 100 mile trip.
Also the head temp is staying at 200deg and oil temp at 150deg. Have not checked mileage yet but think it is around 13mpg.
