Ceramic coating exhaust

Post by McCall Pinz »

I'm re-doing the full exhaust from head gasket to the end of the muffler. I had some pinholes in the heat exchanger case and the actual exhaust pipe repaired and now its time to finish. I'll have the whole thing ceramic coated, including the SS muffler, and now the most important question- blingy aluminum/chrome or black?

Chrome always seems out of place on a Pinz, to me.

Like my buddy Sam says: "What, people don't notice you enough in that thing?".

I was leaning toward black, but always wanted the bling finish on my street VW so I thought I'd ask. I want to downplay the SS muffler by coating it too.

It depends, do you want the:
Mud baked on black look, or
Mud baked on aluminum look?
