Need Pertronix Magnetic ring

Post by mopar »

Anyone have a spare pertronix magnetic ring. Whoever originally installed the pertronix on my brothers Pinzgauer never removed any material off of the rotor so when they tightened the distributor it smashed the ring down and split it. So I am just in need of the ring if anyone has an extra lying around from a burnt out pertronix or if you have a source for just the ring. Hoping this may be the major source of the truck running extremely rough.
Thanks

In case you haven't yet contacted Pertronix about this, you might want to try. I worked on a truck with one of those defective flamethrower coils, and they were extremely helpful and easy to work with.

We stock just the magnetic rings. If memory serves me they are in the $15 range.
