New rattle on startup

After a 200 mile off-road jaunt through Idaho's backcountry, my truck has developed a nasty rattle on startup. If I start in neutral, there's no problem, but with the clutch depressed there's a deep rattle until the engine is started and up to idle speed and clutch released. I assume throw-out bearing?

I've got a bit of rattle from my Pinz in various locations. I just had a friend help by working the throttle and starter while I walked around the Pinz and identified the noise location. I strongly suggest that you do the same before spending money. Pop the transmission cover in the back off and hang your ear down there while someone starts it in the same way as you describe.

I've never heard a TOB start to fail in a Pinz but my Sonoma's TOB is trying to die and in cold, it makes this horrible screech sound (very similar to a barn owl) until I let out the clutch. I'd bet it's not a TOB but I've been wrong before and I will be wrong again. See if you can't chase that noise down.
