I have a small problem

Post by cruzoropeza »

I was in the process of changing my u-joints and I ordered them from sav and received them and to my surprise they do not fit too small?!?!?! I contacted them and they said that there is only one size and it must be my pinz has been modified?!?!? So now I'm in a bit of a pickle I can't find right size and local auto parts store has nothing similar.
Any ideas?

Take the old U joint and the driveshaft to DRIVELINE SERVICE. They are a big company and may be able to I.D. your joints if they are modified.
Quick question, did you buy the factory joints(with grease fittings) or the non serviceable aftermarket joints(without grease fittings)?

Our drive shaft shop refuses to install the aftermarket joints. We have tried on 3 occasions over the years and always had less than stellar results. I have not had a problem with the factory joints. I believe the factory joints are GBH?
