Universal joints - is there after market or just originals

have seen three different styles of ujoints. Some are easily replaceable with either stock or aftermarket. Which ever direction you decide to go the drive shaft should be balanced once the new ones are installed. I take all my drive shafts to a local company and have them replace the ujoints, inspect and rebalance the shaft.

A good idea, let a shop check it out.
If you are running at high speeds a lot it would be worth balancing!

I read somewhere that there is a aftermarket U-joint.

Hi speeds...ok your kidding right...the fastest I have ever driven her is 118 KMS per hour and that was down a steep long hill in neutral...tee hee.

Anyway i talked with Karl from Pinzgauer Canada and he said just make sure I have the spline lined up right (so I have to mark it before I replace them and she will be ok....so I ordered them from him.

Now I have an Exhaust leak....unbelievable. Should be BRAND NEW SOON....hahahahahaha
