Slave Cylinder Ring

Post by Buzz »

Admittedly a very basic question: Any one have a tip on getting the retaining ring out of the end of the clutch slave cylinder? Its a simple ring with no ears on it like a regular snap ring so I have not been able to use snap ring pliers. I've been trying to get a small screwdriver under it and it seems there must be a better way....

Thanks Tony,
I let is soak with some penetrating oil overnight. Then I put it in a vice and was able to get it with a little screwdriver. Thanks for your response. :)
