Breaker#10 tips

Post by Jim LaGuardia »

For Swiss units, breaker#10 powers the following items: Idle solenoids, wiper motor, blower motor, and horn.
Add this to your diagnostic notes.
If horn shorts, idle sols loose power.

Breaker 10

Post by pcolette »

Jim,

Since #7 is typically only connected to the front blackout light or nothing if you don't have one, would it be a good idea to switch the power for the idle solenoids over to #7?

No, most use that circuit for back up lamps.
I posted this thread due to a phone support call and thought to share it due to the weather. The callers horn was shorting the circuit in the rain and popping the breaker causing the engine to stall.
