How did you wire the extra lights so they dont activate as turn signals? I want to do the same ...extra brake lights up high...but i cant figure out what wire to come off of

Take off the lens...activate the turn signal and make note of what wire goes to the bulb...don't use that one.
Hook up your aux lights to the other two bulbs and their corresponding wires. Be sure to attach the ground
in your new lights to the existing ground wire. Your done. Well... except for the mounting of the lights, feeding
of the wires through the grommet and testing them of course.
I tried mine before mounting, you may already be past that step.
Mine look like this, this is the left side.
