where can replacement breakers be purchased..can't find them at SAV or EI

You are in the perfect location for this. Many marine supply places have these kind
of breakers. ...although, I have seen many posts regarding them and it is said that
they should all be replaced at once, not just one.

yes they all have to be done at once but the whole lot is cheaper than one new original pinz breaker, assuming you can find one. Many mog breakers have been sold as pinz breakers but they are not and don't fit the location of the pinz breaker.

I also used the Sea Choice breakers which are marketed by Sea Choice but actually made by E-T-A, the same company that made the original Pinz breakers.

as well as many other sources.
You will have to switch over the wires to spade connectors for these breakers as they don't have screw terminals.

the body of the new circuit breakers are different by just a little and they don't fit in the housing with the others. The cost for all 12 breakers is the same as one of the originals so it should not be a problem anyway. There is no electrical concern about doing just one it is more a matter of fitting. I fought the problem of failing breakers for a year or so, kept popping in the afternoon sun. One of our board members found and tried these and reported good success so I followed suite. It has been some time since the conversion and to date have had no ill effects from the change. I can tell you that I have tried the breakers out, not on purpose, and they do work without damaging the wiring.
You can even order rubber caps for each breaker. I was not sure how long the covers would last in the heat and did not feel more waterproofing was necessary.
