We've had our 71 710M for a few weeks now. The OEM jack has been behind the back seat with no leaks. I used it today to put one new tire on and it started leaking from the valve and a little around the base. I didn't get the jack handle with the vehicle so I used some pliers to close the valve, maybe I closed it too tight?
I absolutely love the OEM jack and want to fix it and have it with me in the Pinz to use.
Anyone fixed their OEM jack leaks? Suggestions on how to get parts required, etc.?

Re: OEM Hydraulic Jack leaking
I've had 3 of them rebuilt by this outfit: https://www.phjjacks.com
I just shipped the jacks to them and requested that they rebuild as needed. I have nothing to compare them to but I've been happy with the results.
As I recall the jacks were made by Weber in Germany.

Re: OEM Hydraulic Jack leaking
You're fortunate that the you caught the leak early. When I got my 712 the jack had been leaking in the cab for a long time. Quite the mess.
Re: OEM Hydraulic Jack leaking
My jack was leaking from the valve that relieves pressure on the jack. Since that was the only leak I decided to try to fix it myself. I machined a piece of Delrin to fit over the valve stem which will compress rubber seal. So far no more leaks.
