I'm replacing the rubber gasket that goes between the windshield frame and body. The one from SAV has a narrow edge (for between the frame and body) and a bulbous edged (for in front of the windshield.
My quesiton is: when I insert the gasket, does it matter whether the bulbous part sticks up toward the windsheild, or down toward the body? I assume "down" so that dripping water from the glass doesn't pool?
Thanks!
Ed

Not sure what SAV is selling, but the "S" shape gasket should have a small leg on the outside to lip over the face of the frame.

Well took the window loose today to turn the window gasket around but it was mounted up and it will not mount bulb down do to the way the window frame and body line up. I am glade i took it apart as I haven't since it was painted pimp. And I had a small rust spot from the gasket rubbing on the window frame. Sorry I thought I had put it on balb down it's been awhile.
