Canvas Door Tops
Canvas Door Tops
I've seen a few Pinz's for sale with canvas door tops, but I can't find these door tops for sale at any of the usual parts outlets. Does anyone know if anyplace sells them?
Thanks,

Re: Canvas Door Tops
As far as I know those soft half doors are relatively rare factory options. Two or three years ago Scott at Expedition Imports brought some into the USA with a huge shipment of imported Pinzies and Pinzy parts. Might still have some available, or if not, probably has some contacts in Europe that can get them. At the very least he might be able to provide some rusty original frames or something so that you can get them recreated by a fabricator and then covered at a soft top shop.

Thanks for the tip. I'll send a note to EI and see what they can tell me.

Re: Canvas Door Tops
Hi, I am planning to replace the canvas door tops on my Pinzgauer with sliding glass tops, so will probably have 2 canvas tops in good condition for sale (in Australia). David

Re: Canvas Door Tops
The aforementioned canvas door tops were afaik only used at the Austrian army, as standard for M-models
SAN, FLA, FAL and all K models had the sliding window door tops.
