Plasti dip the pinz?

Post by bbonomo »

I did a couple of searches on the topic and was surprised that it hasn’t come up more often, or if it did I wasn’t searching for the right thing.

Have folks successfully Plasti dipped their Pinzs? Any feedback, advice, pix, etc?

I’m contemplating it

Thanks!

one of our members is pursuing a product that will help with sound and is somewhat like a plasti dip product. Will have to check and see how he is coming along with that. Hopefully he sees this post.

I have not done my Pinz or a whole vehicle but I PlastiDipped the fender flares and headlight surrounds on an old G wagen flat black and they lasted 2+ years (then I sold it so not sure what new owner did).
It fills in any chips, easy to apply and easy to remove so I suggest doing a section and then see what you thing (drivers door or some panel like that)
