What has anyone come up with to close the 2 inch gap in the back where the top and rear door meet on a 710M to keep the cold air out? Am I missing something that actually goes on the top of the door? Thanks for your help.

Re: Back Window
A quick and simple fix is a piece of 2" foam stuck on the dor top.

Re: Back Window
Only time I am concerned about it is when I am sleeping back there. I use a piece of thick fabric (section of moving blanket) that I velcro to the panel and the side metal.
In the winter I drop the black out curtain behind the cab and use the heater to warm the cab.

Re: Back Window
I'm not sure if knuckledown is still making Pinz parts, but they had an aluminum angle made to fit this. Probably about 2" high, 1.5" wide, with expansion bolts to fit in the holes on the top of the door.

I made a modification to my top and posted pics about a year ago. Here is the link: http://www.real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerB ... =18&t=6769

Thanks for the feedback and ideas. That's part of the beauty of this forum. As far as Knuckledown, I had called them earlier to make me one of their noserings, but they weren't interested. They had other interests.

Re: Back Window
Years ago I made a simple (to me considering what I do for a living) fix for the rear door.
I used a piece of 3/4 inch copper, two 3/4 x 3/4 x 1/2 tees and two 3/4 caps. I made a setup of the copper, insulated it with rubber insulation and wrapped it with poly tape. Soft yet seals up the back well.
obviously I push it all the way down, just lifted it up a bit so you could get the idea.
