Pinz has new home.

Build projects, things that guys have come up with to make a Pinz better (or worse?) and aftermarket add-ons.

Pinz has new home.

Post by Sonarman »

First time posting. I just got the pinz home from Oregon. Jon, the previous own is a great guy and wish I could have spent more time talking with him. I can't wait to drive it. I would rather have a wisdom tooth pulled then go to the DMV in California to get it registered!

Congrats. Add your location to your profile so's we know where you are

I had zero problems with CA.DMV but your mileage might vary -- the year on
the data plate will make ALL the difference...

good luck.

Much easier to go to AAA (if you are a member) than CA DMV! Makes joining AAA worth it.

I went to my local AAA last week before picking up vehicle and AAA said they would do it. This week they told me since it was out-of-state registration I need to go to DMV. So you go online to DMV and try to get appointment and it takes a minimum of a week.
If anyone has any tricks for registration I am welcome to suggestions.

Hey Jim,
Glad you made it back safe and it has found a good home. Thanks for the pic's, I am sure you and your wife will enjoy it as much as we have! Glad to see you on this Forum, a ton of valuable info and a great group of people, its well worth supporting ( even though you now have a sticker on the spare hanger :D ). I look forward to reading your posts and keeping tabs on the Pinz.

Congratulations! Jon is a great guy and his Pinz has been really nicely built out. It's a great looking rig with a lot of amazing features that has been built right.

Don't let Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown know you have such a gross polluting vehicle, he will have his posse of tree huggers come and get it...lol!

I'll admit it, I have drooled over that truck in pictures before. Nice rig!
