I do quite a bit of night time, throw the friends in back and cruise around town, type of events. I'd like to install some subtle white led lights in the front cabin and throughout the rear to help illuminate when very dark. Nothing super bright, just enough so you can see the persons face and rummage through your gear.
Advanced auto has a large selection of add on 12v LEDs. Cheesy little white, blue and red that you stick to your dash. Has anyone seen something like that in 24v?

They carry a few designs from Hella here: http://www.rallylights.com/Hella%20Inte ... ights.aspx . Some nice LED models available in 24volt.

Re: 24v interior led accent lights?
So far, I light up the rear door and access with one of these, magnetically stuck to the rear rollbar. It's low-maintenance and zero-effort for the installation:
http://www.amazon.com/MAXCRAFT-60191-27 ... 707&sr=8-3
This lamp is brighter than the smaller and cheaper three-Led ones, and is IMHO much better value (i.e. the difference in light output is greater than the difference in price). It does the trick at keeping my shin and knee away from the tow pintle when entering/exiting my truck... If it has happened to you, you (painfully) know exactly what I mean.
However, if you want to install several, you may lack suitable flat surfaces to stick such lights between the two rollbars, and you'll need to switch them all individually...
If you want a more permanent install, tapping the on-board 24v (as the title suggests) with an in-cab switch for all lights, then this would work:

... but it's not exactly given (as anything LED that produces decent light output). But it's not accent lights... http://www.superbrightleds.com has colored 24v LED bulbs, but you'll need to find / build the housing(s) to plug them in...

Jan,
I forgot all about those Maxcraft lights. I have 3 of them and they're very handy and the price is right

Same as the maxcraft from harborfreight $4, haven’t had one fall off yet using the magnet to stick it in my pinz. Decent battery life, unfortunately uses 3 aaa’s, discovered that when all I had with me were aa’s. Also wish it didn’t require a screw driver to change batteries. Really pleased for the price

I found 12 led 24v strip lights on eBay for $5 shipped. Gonna give those a try.. The battery led stuff always seems to rot the batteries.

Re: 24v interior led accent lights?
Northern Tool and Supply has some fairly big (perhaps 2" X 6") aa battery powered LED lights that I've installed "out back" and up front. Attached with zip ties, extremely effective and cheap. Let me know if you need a photo.

You could also connect two 12v led strips in series and it will work off you 24v system
