Does anybody have one of the Dosco RHD conversions which were
fitted with the Range Rover V8 and 5speed box . We purchased
six from Dosco , and still have one , which we have converted to a
Ambulance. We also had a soft top used as a Forest Fire Engine.
Won the Army heavy vehicle trials at Bovington in 1987 with ten
clear rounds . Next year overheard Marshal must make sure they do not win
this year , so handicap them .. With 9 clear rounds they altered the last
to deep water. Which we got though ; but stalled on the incline , restarted
and completed section ; but they used this as a excuse.
We have taken this C303 to expeditions in the USA shipping
Southampton to Port Hueneme on Rollo Ferry $1000. Attended
one Easter Jeep Rally . Mojava Road , and other trails. V8 and
5 speed box gave 65 MPH and much more flexible to drive. Have
new 5 speed box spare , if anybody interested . Also complete
Portal Hubs . among our many spares we purchased form Dosco.
who were trying to get the Army Contract to replace the
FC101 Pity Politics got in the way. While a expedition to

I think this is the correct address for your orginisation, I think you missed the .UK off the end of the address.
It is the sort of thing that I might have done.
Do you have any more information about the heavy was the standard set up for that time for the RR. I do believe that LR products are suitable or the Volvo but tend towards the diesels.
Welcome by the way.
