Swedish army paint colours ?

Post by EX-INF »

Hello all ,
Soon to pick up my C303 the problem is its blue and im used to military colours
Its likely to be olive green satin as the landrover wolf.
But I like the look of the Swedish cam it would look a bit different when green laning in Wales.
Has any one got the colour codes for the Swedish paint style ?.
Cheers

C303 Paint job

Post by Roy Gardiner »

So is the plan to replicate a swedish military camo pattern Cliff?

I didn't know there were recognised standard patterns...you live and learn.

I still think Vince's beige 303's are the best-looking paint jobs, very reminiscent of Steyr-Puch's, which is actually Fiat Sand Tan beige as I recall.

Dudley eh? Lenny Henry country then - I'm a Coventry lad meself.

Hello all ,
First I would like to thank Richard at " C303s in the UK " for being understanding about me desiding that I really wanted a 6x6 not a 4x4 .
anyway I now dont need to worry about camo paint colours as a 6x6 command modal is now on the drive.
Fresh off the ferry, brought as private sale from near Stokhom driven 300 mile across Sweden then 200 mile down the UK not a problem for a 1978 Volvo .
One of my mates came over today spend two and a half hours playing with it with out hardly saying a word apart from "WOW".
What a bit of kit !!
loads of fun will be had green laning this thing in Wales.
Next M.O.T and then DVLA and customs Paperwork.
all the best
