Parts for George

Post by Roy Gardiner »

Hi George,

Don't know if this helps at all but when I contacted Volvo UK a few years ago for parts for a C306 they said as long as I had the Volvo part number they could get the parts within a week normally.

Hopefully they should still be able to do this in the UK, so if you have any trouble in the States getting stuff from the Volvo distributor let me know and I'll have a go at Volvo UK here for you - they were very interested and keen to help - to my surprise!.

I got the pinion seal at http://www.vlvworld.com/indexframe.html ... uction.htm

I would still like to have a spare clutch cable before I go to Moab, if it's not too much trouble can you see what it would cost me to get it and have it shipped to the U.S.?

Thanks,
George

No problem George - I'll call them in the morning (10:30pm here now).

If they can supply I will mail it out to you a.s.a.p - I'll let you know the situation tomorrow.

Thanks for checking into the cable for me, you were asking about the Blue Civi 303, a guy on the Volvo C303 list got it. It has some really neat features.

Hi Klug

Good to see another one on the list!

George - I'm on holiday this week in Italy so will pursue Volvo UK further on my return.

Cheers,
