Anyone remake or know how to remake/reprint the RES, OIL, IGN label plates from the dash - my IGN one is pretty rough
I may also redo the Choke/Throttle, Front Wheel Drive, and the Differential lock plates
Any info on how they were printed would be helpful
Thanks,

Any good screen printing company should be able to reproduce them, the problem is they are likely to have minimum order quantities - You would probably be able to sell them, but it might take a while.

I wonder if you can take them to a vinyl graphics shop and have them scan them and create a negative stencil. Then, buff the original plates clean, lay on the stencil and spray them with light coats of black paint. Remove the stencil, and voila.
Then sell the stencils to us..

Have you checked with the European suppliers who might have them already as you can buy new "data" tag plates which are done in the same way.

Re: RES, OIL, IGN dash label plates
Hi Dan,
I've been making the various Haflinger plates for the past few years and have a variety on hand. The originals were made by photo etching. I use the more modern method of laser etching. Either way it's the digital template set up that is very laborious to get "spot on" to the originals as they did not use any of the fonts that are digitally available today. Each character must be manually drawn using professional graphics software.
I can add some plates to the box of goodies that I've been saving for you.
Cheers,
Steve
