An interesting story for this Haflinger team - - - the estate sale crew went through the mountains of items, sorted for 5 weeks, priced, and then had 3 days of open house when a LOT of persons walked around the house and garage. I went by one more time to double check. I found a "door chain" with the original black plastic sheath on to of a small table with a lot of stuff. The biggest find was on a shelf in the back. They had marked this down to 3 dollars!! Wow.

While the spare engine was nice, I had noticed the dyna-starter was missing. My step dad must have had it rebuilt and placed in a box somewhere. What a save !!

And I have two of the aluminum donuts / vanes that go around this starter. Life is good.

Terrific find, and a good save.

I wonder where he got it rebuilt, I'm in need of the same service.
