Sources for replacement stop/tail/turn/backup lights

Post by MadMax »

After a bunch of searching I found some places to get the "hamburger" style rear lights for the Volvo, which have the red/yellow/red stripe style, but updated with LED lights. You can get lots of red, round LED brake lights, but these will keep the original look of the lenses but update to LED, so less amp draw, more light outputm, 50K hour life and pretty indestructable. I will be putting a diffuser film on the inside of the lenses too, so it will be more of a glow effect, eliminating the "hot spots" where the led's are.

I also found these, which are really a pain to locate, to replace the bulb turn signals that are above the headlights on mine in the front, as turn signals. I am pretty sure these are not stock style, but the armor on them serves really well to protect from shrubbery.

If you are using 24v still, you can't go wrong with the tail lights from Rhino Truck Parts, they were to me in less than a week and are amazing!

Part Number is TL-L168RY-24

Enjoy.
