That is one bizarre underside. The exposed engine would be worrisome.

Is it 2wd? From what I see and read, it's basically a VW drive train. (??)

The x-15 is 4wd. Crazy OEM that fell when import rules changed in South America. I'd love to check one out.

Everything I've read on the gurgel X15 is that they were only 2wd. Basically a vw thing drivetrain but with coil springs in place of the tortious bars.

I'd rather have a Pinzgauer! Much better construction, design and engineering...

The Brazilian car I would want is the 1980s VW Gol - basically an Audi 80 (which was sold here as the VW Fox?) But with a front mounted air cooled 4 cylinder boxer engine.
