Can we say 391" long and 164" wide,fully expanded (basically a 710)
I have the factory video, but a MTV LHS ( Load Handling System) would be better. Truck and trailer will haul 2 ISO 20' containers, or roll-off flatbeds. Make your house into them and you can load it up in a few minute and move.... something I should seriously consider.

I was on the PA turnpike last week near Lancaster and saw this armored truck:

That truck is not armored. That truck is an Oshkosh, but the cab was on the last version BAE FMTVs. They had an "A" kit and "B" kit.
The one above is the "A" kit with normal glass and no armor. The "warts" all over the truck is what the armor plates are mounted to and all the glass is removed and bullet resistant glass installed (B kit)



A M1078 with the LTAS cab w "A" kit would be about the only other FMTV I'd like to have (4x4version of the 6x above)... A snow ball's chance in hell of me getting one....but I was blind sided by a snow ball 6 months ago with GG

Btw, those tandom trailers are 230" long and weigh 9500lbs

Thanks for the info and clarification. Looking more closely I can see the split sliding side windows now, definitely not bulletproof glass there. It just looked so angular that I assumed it was armored.
And at 9500 lbs those are NOT Pinz friendly trailers!

I would have guessed they were armored as well just from the appearance of them. I didn't realize they were built in both flavors with that cab style. While that cab style is cool you lose alot of the visibility which is what I like on mine very open feeling.

If I hadn’t had a good relationship with BAE for the last 2 years, I wouldn’t have learned as much about the FMTVs ( and the US Pinzgauer connection, beyond S&S purchase of ATL in ’05).
The latest FMTV with LTAS cab (long term armor strategy) can be made with the “A” kit (peace time) or “B” kit (wartime tactical) or converted to the other by the addition/removal of armor/glass.

The “B” kit is very restrictive of visibility, but the A kit isn’t. Anyone used to larger trucks know how to adjust and use mirrors. 90% of what is on the road only comes up to the door handles of the FMTV and other than the forward visibility you must use mirrors.

And one other point that most will miss… the LTAS cab has suicide doors ( a term the government hates)
