Pretty cool
Some part are the same as a Pinz: front turn signals, starter button, breakers, windshield washer pump, map light, etc

Very tempting! Good thing it's not closer to me - I'd have a new toy :)

It really does look kind of cool and very reasonably priced, plus a nice trailer.

80 km/hr cruising speed kills it for me... otherwise very cool. Apparently there were some double cab versions as well and some that were updated with more powerful engine during the mid 2000's before they dropped them in 2007.

Paul,
You need a Supacat!
4 season fun, just a little slower than the 680 on hard road
And I'd really like to know if the tracks work a bunch better in the snow :?
It never snows here, and I'd have to trailer it and put the tracks on after I get to it.

I wonder it your "cheese head" DMV would issue it plates? :P

Cal didn't like the 3 digit VIN. But got the blessings from the highway patrol

Dave,
Paul Underwood keeps telling me the same thing about a Sno-Cat :? I wouldn't mind having something that was good in the snow for my trails but I promised by smarter half I'd hold off for a while on any new acquisitions

I doubt the DMV would give me plates but that's never stopped me before.

The beauty of a Supacat is that it isn't seasonal. I have no use for the tracks here and the Ackerman steering makes it extremely road friendly and still can use the skid steer.
The tracks weigh in at 500+ lbs a set, and not something I care to throw around. My Cats are a little over 81" wide and just do squeeze by the fenders on the trailer....not always  ... then the tracks probably add another 6"

Dave, Paul,

Under the terms of the law WisDOT got passed (HMV plates), DMV must issue registration on virtually any ex-military non-tracked vehicle regardless of whether it was even built for on-road operation even if it doesn't have a title!

(That's how my friend Tom got plates on his 105mm gun and his ex-Chinese-military motorcycle. The Chinese bike only had documents in Mandarin.  )

And as of last year, those vehicles can now be used on a irregular daily basis with no payload restriction. (So, who's got the best collector car laws in the nation now??)

You shouldn't complain too much about 500# tracks. Just come and help me move snowcat tracks some time... I estimated that each track was closer to a half ton. Luckily, they don't come off too often.
