Eberspacher heater failure

Post by Ugo »

Hi all,

A failure has developed in my Eberspacher heater. When switched on, fuel drips from the little rubber pipe on the top of the heater (accessible by removing the heater cover).
Can a spare rubber pipe be easily found? Or, can it be repaired? It seems to have special crimp connectors at its ends.

Thanks,
Ugo

DO NOT under any circumstance fire the BN4 up in this condition. :!: :!: Although that would not be the first fire we have seen. That rubber pipe has condemmed other units. Best of luck at trying to find one. Cheapest insurance is a new MODERN unit. Espar or Webasto. If you need a dealer contact back off line as Dennis is a Webasto rep and we should be able to locate a Webasto representative near by.
