This may be a dumb question but how do you regulate the recharge of the single 12v battery. Please keep response in simple terms (very electrically challenged)
Additional Battery (?)

Mike,
I'm using the setup Ron described.
The Solar Equalizer has three wires: Ground, +24 V and +12 V. The innards of the equalizer push electrons back and forth between the +12 and +24 connections to keep the +12 at exactly 1/2 the +24.
So the Solar Converter automagically charges the battery connected to the +12 connection. As an aside, the converter may at times also draw from the 12 V battery if the 24 V drops down. Again, it is intended as a battery equalizer, not a charger, but it can charge a battery and supply power for toys at up to 20 amps.
